About Double K
Double K in Brookings is known for diesel repair and truck detailing, but RV owners bring motorhomes here too. Reviewers mention thorough inspections and techs who explain what needs fixing before a long trip. The polish shop gets consistent praise. One reviewer said they can take a grimy work truck and make the aluminum shine like mirrors. Another brought in a 40-year-old car and was surprised the wheels looked new again. Friendly staff comes up often in reviews, along with quick turnaround on repairs. The shop also handles parts sales for semis and has an internet reach for truck sales that surprised one customer. It's a busy place, so calling ahead is smart.
