About Mountain View Auto Detail
A car detailing shop on the Peninsula that also handles RVs, boats and window tinting. Google shows a 4.7 rating across 137 reviews, and the crew gets called friendly over and over. Reviewers mention a fair quote and work that brings a tired vehicle back to that new car look. The interior work comes up most in reviews. People mention mat cleaning, engine bay cleaning, window cleaning and getting rid of smells and mold. One long-time customer had a car with sticky surfaces, grease marks and spilled chips and said it came back looking new. Others brought older cars, including a 97 Porsche, and were pleased with how the paint and dull hood finished out. Full body wash, car waxing, clay bar treatment and headlight polishing are on the list, plus interior vacuuming and scenting. The shop is wheelchair accessible. If you're booking a rig, ask ahead about what they can handle on site. That's the one thread the reviews don't cover.

“This place is beyond amazing. I brought my father’s Lexus LS460. The car was sticky, had grease marks in the interior, spilled chips, and the paint had lost much of its luster. Now it looks brand new again.” – Rahul B., Edited 7 years ago, on Google
“I recently got my car detailed here and honestly, I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out.” – bugra, 5 months ago, on Google
“I brought my 97Porsche Carrera S to be detailed inside and out. They did a fantastic job throughout. By the time they were done it looked like new. Even the hood which had been painted 10 years ago and had a dull finish looks great.” – Pier F., 3 years ago, on Google
