About The Detail Guy, LLC
The Detail Guy runs a detail shop in New Buffalo, and the reviews pile up fast: 219 on Google, all five stars. It's a full-service setup for cars and boats, with hand washing, hand waxing, and ceramic coatings on the menu, plus paint corrections and interior work. Appointment only, and there's pick-up and drop-off across Harbor Country. Reviewers keep circling back to Scott. They mention his communication, that he worked around their schedules, and that he seems to care about the cars like they're his own. Interior detailing comes up a lot, and so does dog hair removal. One owner brought in a Tesla for paint correction and a ceramic coating and came away talking about the deep black shine. Another had a paint chip on the hood fixed after asking if he handled that kind of thing. A few people switched over from bigger shops and said the work here was more thorough, with pricing in line with what the large companies charge. If you're in Three Oaks, Sawyer, Bridgman, or nearby and want your rig washed, waxed, or coated, this is one to call.

“Scott is an absolute pleasure to work with, and his detailing speaks to his passion for the craft. He is highly professional and flexible, and very personable to boot.” – Christian G., 7 years ago, on Google
“I thought I would give Scott a try. As this is his own business, he has more skin in the game VS the bigger places that have some kid that details your car. Scott did a more thorough job than the bigger places.” – Scott W., 7 years ago, on Google
“Scott just did the paint correction and ceramic coating on my brand new Tesla Model S. I knew my car was in good hands as soon as I dropped it off. Scott is a fellow car enthusiast and treated my car as if it were his own.” – Chuck G., 4 years ago, on Google
